Mario Andreas Avila - Mario, born and raised in San Francisco, started dancing/performing in Diedra Meredith's Hip Hop company's at 15 yrs. old. At 18 he studied ballet with Eric Conrad and Jazz with Helen Jackson. At 25 he started dancing Ballroom and has been teaching ever since. Mario is a Pro-Am competitor, instructor/coach, choreographer and performer in American Rhythm, Smooth and International Latin. Known for the quality of instruction set by the industry standard DVIDA and recognized by the NDCA. Mario is the recipient of many top teacher awards with his pedagogy occurring under the direction of various coaches spanning a 20 year career in ballroom. |

Todd Hansen - Todd has been watching ballroom dancing his entire life because his parents met on a dance team in college, but he never had any formal lessons. When he got to college at Utah Valley Univ., he took a class... that turned into 2 classes... which turned into 4 classes, and soon he was doing little else but dancing. He has been competing both Standard and Latin, making it into the top 24 Couples in the USA in the Amateur Standard level in 2009. He started teaching in 2004, and in 2011 he ran the Ballroom Program at the University of Utah and co-directed the Ballroom Dance formation teams. He has traveled the world teaching on cruise ships in his spare time. He moved back to Colorado in 2019 and Has been teaching all 4 styles ever since. |
Janell Marie Bradburry - Janell grew up overseas where she did ballet, jazz and hip hop. Upon moving to Colorado, Janell began ballroom dancing in 1998 after watching the movie “Swing Kids” and fell in love with swing dancing.
She continued to pursue her interest in partner dancing, learning all of the other ballroom dances. She competed in her first competition that same year, and after graduating college, became a dance instructor in Colorado where she worked for nearly 3 years before teaching independently. Janell continues to teach, compete, and perform, as she pursues her own passion for dancing, and seeks to inspire and help others along their own dance journey. |
Joseh Marion - Joseh Marion hails from Youngstown, Ohio, where he started his dancing career on a formation team in high school. His talent was recognized by Fred Astaire Dance Studio at the age of 17. Now in Hilton Head and Savannah he teaches under his self proclaimed studio and brand, Vivid Rhythms. Twelve years experience as a certified pro, Joseh maintains his passion for the art of ballroom dance that he had when he began. Through the years, Joseh has won countless Pro-am Scholarship in all styles of Ballroom dancing and has collected multiple charitable awards for local non-profit organizations. His passion for dance and his community has led him to create and host a dance event called "The Legacy", which brings local pro-am dancers together for a good cause, such as Alzheimer's Association of Coastal Georgia and The Rape Crisis center of the Coastal Empire. Joseh learns from each one of his students and delights in pouring his knowledge, technique, and passion for dance into them. He rekindled his passion of ballroom dancing 12 years ago, has had excellent training, competed, and most of all, enjoys sharing his talent with our lucky ladies at sea. Brandon Barranco - Brandon has been teaching since 2006. He has received multiple top teacher accolades and has been recognized as one of the best in the country in Pro and Amateur competition. As a performer he has been featured in productions such as Bravo Birmingham, Dancing With The Stars Pro Show, Dare to Dance, Miss Alabama and most recently Dancing with the Chattanooga Stars. His choreography credits include hit productions of Annie, Footloose, The Producers, Bye Bye Birdie, Into the Woods among others. |
Cassandra Sparks - Cassandra shares with you her lifelong passion of dance which began at age seven when she discovered the magic of movement! She evolved to teaching dance in high school, performing with her college dance team. She loves to teach people of all ages, and takes pride in being adaptable, nimble, and able to connect. Blaine Beirne - Blaine was a dancer from childhood, raised in Long Beach, California to a family that loves to dance! His first dance partner was his mother who taught him country two step in the livingroom, from then on he was hooked!
Blaine's professional dance career spans over 16 years, receiving training from many world class ballroom champions. Blaine has refined his craft in American Smooth, Rhythm and Specialty and club dancing while working and training in multiple ballroom dance schools throughout Southern California.
Blaine has traveled the world as a professional competitor as a professional and with his students. He is a fun loving guy and is very excited to share his passion for dance with you and the talented team of professionals with Dancers At Sea. |
Michael Singleton - Michael started dancing ballet and taking gymnastics at the age of 5 to improve his coordination after his father enrolled him in t-ball. The t-ball didn’t interest Michael much, but dance sure did. Michael transitioned to ballroom dancing at the age of 16 and he started teaching shortly thereafter. Michael started teaching ballroom in Jacksonville in 2006, and in 2007 he was awarded top teacher in Jacksonville. Michael continues to win recognition as a top teacher locally and internationally on multiple professional competition dance circuits. |
Bob Goot - Bob started his dance adventures at age 19 studying Performing Arts in Jazz, Tap and Ballet before diving into Hustle,Rhythm and Smooth Ballroom. He competed and won Gold in the USBC Rhythm level and performed on TV's Dance Fever and Star Search in the 1980s, before taking a long break with starting a family. He returned in 2010,and has become a very popular social dancer in the Florida and NY/NJ area. With competency in many styles of partner dancing, a constant smile, and an easy lead, he loves making each dance a fun and joyful experience for his followers. His hobbies include traveling, photography, fitness, golf and pickleball. |
Samantha Larrick - Samantha resides in Northern California where she is a certified instructor of all ballroom genres. With a Masters degree in arts and communications, she focuses on each student's experience is what they want it to achieve. She is gracious. friendly, and will enhance your dancing both in learning and social dancing to your hearts content! |
Andreas Luetzner - Andreas started dancing at the age of 13 years. He is trained in International Ballroom and Latin dances (10-Dance). He has danced at the highest level in Germany, which is S-Klasse. Andreas is a 3-time East German 10-Dance Champion. After he came to the United States he started competing in American style. He is an Ohio Star Ball Rising Star American Smooth Semi-finalist and has danced in many other competitions. He is also a Theater Arts Pro/Am Emerald Ball Champion. Andreas is very proficient in ALL dances - American style, International style, and all night club dances as well. He is also a certified teacher in all of those styles. |
Tim Tetreault - Tim began dancing at the ripe old age of 9 in 1976, first learning Tap, Jazz and Ballet with some tumbling skills added in. He won his first competition at 13 as a Tap dancer in Coventry, Connecticut where he grew up and danced at his local dance studio. 1991 changed everything. Tim got an opportunity to learn and becoming a ballroom pro became the next goal and he never looked back. Tim had the benefit of teaching both the American and International styles of the ballroom world and has certifications in both styles. Attention to detail has been a staple in his own dancing and the students he teaches. He was the coach of the University of Connecticut Ballroom dance team from 1998 until 2008 and still enjoys Pro/Am competition with students. Look for Tim on the dance floor, you will not be sorry! |
Jatindah Singh - J lives in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK. He started dancing in 1993, beginning with Salsa, Merengue and "Modern Jive". He then acquired skill in Argentine Tango, Kizomba, Bachata, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Night Club 2 Step and Lindy Hop as well as both smooth and standard ballroom and rhythm as well as Latin. A truly distinguished gentleman with a genuine joy of music and dancing and a desire to share that joy! |
Julie Pagano - Julie began her dance journey at the age of 24. Just three years later, she earned her teaching certification in American Style Smooth and Rhythm dance. She has since competed professionally in the American Smooth division alongside her husband, Tim Allen.
Her time in Mississippi ignited a passion for West Coast Swing, prompting her to train with top West Coast Swing champions, including the Canadian champions and World Champion Michael Kielbasa. With their guidance, she attained certification in the West Coast Swing arena. You will delight in Julie’s instruction and social dancing with Dancers At Sea! |

Carrie Harris - Carrie is a seasoned competitive ballroom dancer filled with enthusiasm and smiles. Friendly, fun, and an excellent follow, Carrie also assists in reservations and sales of Dancers at Sea. In addition, Carrie is a graduate of Walnut Hill School for the Performing Arts in Massachusetts and Ohio Wesleyan University. She is fluent in both Spanish and French and is a lovely asset on the dance floor as well as the ports of call. |
Aimee Neumann - Aimee has always enjoyed dancing but never started any formal training until 2014. After just one ballroom class she was hooked, and it has been a strong passion of hers ever since. She has competed as an amateur in both rhythm and smooth styles and has won many awards in both. She currently dances at the gold/open level in smooth but enjoys training in standard as well. Her smile and enthusiasm for dance and her partners shine when she is on the floor, either competitively or socially. |
Martin Pickering - Martin has been teaching dance for 20+ years and competing professionally for 17. He is certified in smooth, standard, rhythm, and Latin through the silver level and qualified through open gold. Martin is very passionate about creating expression through movement and teaching others the way to find it within themselves. David Morris - David exhibits his love of ballroom dancing every time he takes the floor. He has been social dancing for over 35 years and also has limited amateur competitive experience. His main loves are American Smooth and West Coast Swing but also dances Hustle and American Rhythm dances. Besides his home state of Michigan, he can also be found dancing in New York, Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania. |
Earl Forte - Earl is a long-time Ballroom and Nightclub dancer in the NY-NJ-PA area and has received extensive training from some of the nation's leading professionals in various styles of dance. He currently dances more than 15 dance styles, having won competitions in Hustle, Rumba, Salsa and West Coast Swing. Derrick Van Adrighem - Derrick, a Salt Lake City native, honed his dance skills at the renowned studio "The Vibe." During his senior year in 2014, he contributed to his hometown studio's national title in Latin ballroom formations. Since age 10, he's been immersed in ballroom dancing, earning multiple state and national titles at NDCA competitions. Under the guidance of Rick Robinson at The Vibe, Derrick had the privilege of training and dancing alongside notable performers like Marquet Hill, Jensen Arnold, Whitney Carson, and Tanish Belnap. After high school, he accepted a dance scholarship at UVU as part of their professional touring company. In 2015, Derrick's journey led him to Blackpool, England, where he and his team earned a world title at the esteemed Blackpool World Championships. His move to San Diego in 2019 allowed him to influence and elevate the local ballroom community significantly. |
Sheila Wishard - Sheila took ballet classes as a child and then started training horses where she learned much about the balance, lines, control and patience it takes to be a confident dancer and a competent teacher. She began her journey into the world of ballroom dance as a student and was hooked right away. She underwent extensive training by the 2014 and 2015 world smooth champions Peter and Alexandra Perzhu and learned the techniques required to be able to dance professionally and teach all forms of ballroom dance. Shelia has successfully competed all over the country with students of all ages. |
Ramphis Kumar - A native of Panama City and raised in Puerto Rico, Ramphis started his dance journey at a young age. Throughout his illustrious dance career, Ramphis has collaborated with Ivy Queen, the Latin Grammy winner for Reggaeton, and performed with Gran Combo de Puerto Rico and Roberto Rohena, as well as Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsie orchestras. Ramphis moved to the U.S. to study English and further his dance career. He has trained, performed and competed extensively in American Rhythm and American Smooth dance styles, winning numerous top teacher awards and professional titles. Alongside his wife Jenny Levina, he reached the American Rhythm finals and was a 2019 World American Mambo Finalist. Fluent in Spanish and English, he holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the International University of Valencia. Sandra Naccache and Jorge Lopez - Sandra Naccache and Jorge Lopez are two highly accomplished, sought after and experienced Argentine Tango artists. The combined backgrounds of this diverse duo makes them stand out, forming a strength and beauty in their dance that will draw you in. Born in Buenos Aires, Jorge took his first Tango lesson at 11. From that day, Tango became his passion and eventually his career making him renowned worldwide. He has had the honor to be a judge for preliminary world championships in several countries. Of Mediterranean origin, fluent in four languages, Sandra fell in love with dance as a child as she accompanied her mom to rehearsals. She eventually founded "Academie de danse Sandra Naccache" and won several awards as choreographer in Baladi productions. Her multi-faceted background in dance (Tango, Ballroom and Baladi) led her to Argentina in 2010 where she immersed herself in the culture. Since then she has dedicated her career to Argentine Tango. Based in Argentina and Montreal, Sandra and Jorge met in 2014 at "La Baldosa", a traditional local milonga in Buenos Aires. They began their collaboration in 2016 and formed a full-time dance couple in 2018. Before joining forces and until today both dancers have taught and performed internationally in festivals, theaters, cruise ships, television, movies and exclusive events. |
Angelo Cianfrocco - From ballet to ballroom, comedy to karaoke, Angelo is an all around entertainer. Three decades in the American Ballroom arena from Florida to California he has traveled with and trained along several top champions. An accomplished cabaret competitor he can be spotted dipping his partners any chance he gets.

Dale Moreth-
Ballroom dancing for 17 years in both Latin and Smooth. Dale really enjoys moving to the beat of the Rumba and "dancing on the clouds" to the Waltz. He also loves to hike and has "walked above the clouds" in Colorado, Alaska, and Scotland. Before Ballroom dancing, he was a nightclub dancer, so you are guaranteed fun on the dance floor no matter what is playing! |
